Today I am going to short and to the point. I am also going to point you an affirmation. Focus on your strengths and celebrate all aspects of your personality. Keep learning and growing even as you age. The time may not be ideal with your life circumstances to live your truth but continue to transform. Know in your heart of hearts that you'll give birth to your truth when the time is right. This is the Law of Gestation. Everything gives birth in its own time. Thus, you are pregnant with the idea of your future self, germinating and waiting for the right conditions for you to give birth and bloom!  Your life is full of purpose, thus be open to all possibilities. A Dual Gender Short Story I remember the day I first saw Zael, or as I later came to know them, Alexander. Our society had no concept of gender; we were all simply human, existing without the constraints of male or female roles. Our society was genderless. Any expression of either male or female was not only frowned upon, but dealt with in the harshest of manners. Choosing to identify as either gender was a crime that would lead to dire consequences. We were taught to blend, to be one with everyone else, so we could all live in harmony. This world was built on the foundation of unity, a place where the line between individuals was meant to blur, but the irony of it all was that it left many of us feeling isolated. I am very fortunate that the place I call my work is welcoming, affirming and supportive. I am not Michelle the transgender woman. I am just Michelle one of the girls.
